Bruce Fingles

CEOBruce is Vice President of Operations, Services and Program Management at Blackridge Technology. He’s a seasoned entrepreneur with a string of successful exits. Mr. Fingles has run infrastructure and operations groups for public and start-up security and data center companies. He was CIO and VP of Product Management at Xsigo Systems (Oracle) and CIO and SVP of Customer Services at Micromuse (IBM). Other start-ups include Recourse Technologies, IDS software (Symantec), and Oblix, Identity management security (Oracle). Mr. Fingles is the author of the novel Dillon’s Dilemma.

John Matthesen

COOJohn was on the team of two startup-to-IPO companies (Sybase and Commerce One). He has extensive operations, engineering and sales experience throughout the US, Europe and Asia and has served as CIO, VP of Asia Sales, and various roles in marketing and Engineering, and was architect of one of the first B2B e-marketplaces. Always on the forefront of technology, he has been COO at an internet advertising company, CEO at a software anti-piracy company, COO at a biotech software company, each with innovative new products. In addition to operations, he has been an active angel investor as well as a venture partner at a SF/China VC (WI Harper). He is an advisor and board member of numerous companies, including fintech, ag-tech and various socially-responsible entities.

Phil Smith

President and CTO – Phil is a network security expert and former senior product developer and principle forensic engineer with Cranite Systems, Inc., where he helped develop WirelessWall ($50M in VC funding).  He has also held senior technical and managerial roles at HP, Thales, Cisco, NASA, Lawrence Livermore National Lab.  He is the innovator, architect and developer of several implementations of WirelessWall, including mobile devices, cryptographic libraries and identity management components. Phil continues as a consultant to retain the FIPS certifications and work with key WirelessWall customers at the Department of Energy, various municipalities and technology partners.

Larry Karisny

CBDO – An expert in Smart Grid and public safety and founder/director of ProjectSafety, a non-profit organization. Larry brings 20 years experience in a variety of local wireline and wireless network topologies including power grid private networks and NOC operations. He is the Director of Project Safety.org. which focuses on end to end security platforms for both local public and private shared networks. As an independent consultant he supports security platforms for wireless broadband, smart grid, utility, transportation, public safety and critical infrastructure networks. He is a contributing writer for Government Technology Magazine and MuniWireless also participating in a variety of speaking engagements focusing on smart grid security.

Taher Elgamal

Dr. Elgamal is recognized as the inventor of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a protocol developed by Netscape for transmitting private documents via the Internet. John is helping with our strategy and investor pitch.
